Mt. Tabor and The Church of the Transfiguration. This was HIGH atop the summit. Just beautiful. Actually, it was a bit shocking how beautiful this church is. Remember, the church was not here when Jesus was. This was built maybe 100 years ago on top of where they believe is the place where Jesus was with Peter, James and John and Moses and Elijah appeared. Jesus was transfigured before them with his face shining like the sun and his clothing turning bright white. Please refer to Matthew Chapter 17:1-8.
Driving along the very nice roads. This is some of the typical housing and a mosque. Mosques are dotted all through the landscape. The Jewish temples are not as easily spotted.
